This Privacy Policy explains what information Taara collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Taara website and service.
Information we collect
Account information such as your name and email address. Business profile information you add, such as your studio name, services, hours, and branding. Booking information that your clients submit when they book with you, such as their name, email, phone number, and notes. Payment information, which is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Basic technical information needed to operate the Service.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and operate the Service, to send transactional emails such as booking confirmations, reminders, and review requests, to process subscriptions and payments, to provide support, and to keep the Service secure.
Service providers
We share information with trusted providers that help us run the Service: Supabase for database and sign-in, Stripe for payments, Resend for sending email, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process information on our behalf.
Information about your clients
When a client books with a business on Taara, that business decides what information to collect and how to use it. Taara processes that information to provide the booking service on behalf of that business.
Cookies
We use essential cookies that keep you signed in and let the Service work. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Your choices and rights
You can review or update your account information at any time. You can cancel your subscription and request deletion of your information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your information.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Taara is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above.
